Honouring Governor Steven Marshall AO

The Coopers Foundation warmly congratulates our Governor, Steven Marshall, on being appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2026 Australia Day Honours.

This significant national honour recognises Steven’s distinguished service to the people of South Australia, including his leadership as Premier, and his long-standing commitment to public life, sound economic stewardship and community wellbeing.

Since joining the Coopers Foundation as a Governor, Steven has further strengthened the Board through his considered insight, integrity and strong sense of responsibility. His experience in public leadership and focus on long-term outcomes continue to support the Foundation’s role as a careful steward of donor generosity and a reliable partner to charitable organisations across Australia.
