The Coopers Foundation aims to improve and protect the quality of life of Australians by providing support to charitable organisations working in communities across the nation.

All applicants must fulfill the below eligibility criteria;

  • Charity registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)

  • Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1 endorsement by the Australian Tax Office

  • Annual income under $10million in the previous financial year

  • Only one application per organisation/DGR can be submitted for consideration by the Board of Governors in any two-year period

  • General Giving

    Up to $50,000

    One-off funding

    ALL GRANT ROUNDS ARE FULL until December 2025
    We will provide an update here when enquiries reopen

    The project must respond to one of the Foundation’s focus areas:
    - Youth education
    - Aged care
    - Medical research / Health care
    - Fostering family and community support based on Christian values

    These grants are for projects with proven need in our community

  • Sustainable Giving

    $150,000

    Multi-year funding ($50,000 p.a.)

    2024 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED
    We are only taking enquiries for future grant rounds

    The focus area for this grant is selected on a rotational basis, as follows:
    2025 - Youth education
    2026 - Aged care / Medical research / Health care
    2027 - Family and community support based on Christian values

    This grant is designed to provide long-term certainty for the successful organisation
